It is a particular pleasure for me to welcome the residents of Cyprus, my compatriots and our partners and friends to the website of our Embassy. I took up my position as Ambassador of Switzerland to the Republic of Cyprus at the beginning of August 2022 and I am very proud to represent Switzerland on this beautiful island.  

After my diplomatic posts in Algeria, Ireland, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia, I am happy to discover this wonderful country, its people, its long history and rich culture. The Embassy team and I look forward to contributing to the further development of the lively relations between Switzerland and Cyprus. In the hope that our website will stimulate your interest in Switzerland and in our bilateral relations, I wish you pleasant reading.

Rund 40'000 Schweizerinnen und Schweiz geniessen jedes Jahr Klima, Landschaften, Kultur und Gastfreundschaft auf der Insel. Wir alle prägen das Bild, welches die einheimische Bevölkerung von der Schweiz hat. In diesem Sinne sind auch Sie alle Botschafterinnen und Botschafter der Schweiz. Tragen wir gemeinsam dazu bei, unser Land hier auf Zypern mit Stil und Freundlichkeit zu vertreten.
