Swiss citizens who get into difficulties abroad, also can ask for advice and help from the Swiss representative.

The magazine for the Swiss Abroad appears six times a year and provides information about what is happening at home and the activities of Swiss associations abroad. It also answers administrative questions.

The Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus, Mr Aliaksandr GANEVICH; of Georgia, Mr Revaz LOMINADZE; of the Slovak Republic, Mr Alexander MICOVČIN; of the Federal Republic of Germany, Mr Michael FLÜGGER; of the Republic of Malta, Mr Albert FRIGGIERI (with residence in Valetta); and of the EU Delegation to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein, Mr Petros MAVROMICHALIS, were welcomed by the President of the Swiss Confederation Simonetta Sommaruga on 1 September 2020 at the Federal Palace for the presentation of their credentials.
