The Nasscom Game Developer Conference 2017 (NGDC) attracted the Who’s-who of India’s gaming industry. The conference had a participation of at least 3000 people and 150 speakers. The Swiss gaming corner at NGDC displayed an array of exciting new Swiss games. Concepts such as creating a garden or surfing on the moon are quite novel to the gaming community and were greatly appreciated by the conference participants. A delegation of nine members from Switzerland attended the conference, comprising student game developers, faculty members of gaming and design schools and a startup. Apart from the gaming corner, Switzerland’s expertise in game design and technology was also demonstrated through masterclasses and narrative sessions.
