Skilling India – Experiences with the Swiss dual VET Model

The Swiss VET Initiative India was launched in 2008, reflecting a demand of Swiss companies in India for qualified workers. It also demonstrated Switzerland’s interest in positioning its vocational education and training system internationally. This conference aims to discuss the needs of the Indian economy towards its workforce and how the Swiss dual VET model could contribute to skilling individuals for the labour market.
