A public-private initiative, produced jointly by the Rajasthan government and Orange cat productions, the festival brings photography on curated themes closer and accessible to larger public.

Opening in presence of the Ambassador of Switzerland to India and Bhutan, Dr. Andreas Baum, on 24th February 2017, 04.30 pm, Jawahar Kala Kendra, Jaipur. The JaipurPhoto 2017 will be on view at all public spaces in Jaipur.

Did you know that the modular display structures for the entire festival have been designed under the guidance of the Swiss architect and urban designer Prof. Juerg Grunder? The design is prepared from local material, sustainable and sturdy.

Several talks by eminent photographers will be held between 24th and 26th February 2017. Amongst the exhibitions, works on display by by Swiss photographer Flurina Rothenberger and a talk by Independent curator, author and photo editor based in Zurich, Lars Willumeit, are worth attending.

Both participants are invited by Pro Helvetia Swiss Arts Council and the Jaipur Photo festival.
