Sanskrita Foundation, a charitable trust in Mumbai has invited Swiss Flamenco dancer Bettina Sulzer Castaño to showcase her work at their yearly cultural program in collaboration with Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Smarak Samiti. This cultural exchange (A fusion with Flamenco and Odissi Dance) will be presented with Indian Odissi dancer Shubhada Varadkar. Bettina Sulzer Castaño will also offer some workshops during her visit in Mumbai.

About Bettina Sulzer Castaño:

Bettina Sulzer Castaño is a Flameno dancer, choreographer and producer of over 18 dance and music shows. She is also the author of 34 educational Dance Books and DVDs and the Director of the Flamenco Project Switzerland. She dances with a pure and clean technique, with the intensity of her interpretation, expression to say something new. She creates unusual, exciting timbres with the foot. Besides traditional Flamenco Bettina Castaño offers different, intercultural programs.
