Clear Swiss mountain air, sound of tinkling goat bells, fragrant sweet meadow flowers...lets welcome Heidi from Switzerland in a fun session with Avanti Devasthale. Avanti Devasthale is a translator/storyteller all rolled into one. She brings to you “Heidi”, originally written by Swiss author Johanna Spyri and translated in Hindi by Avanti.

Avanti Deosthale is a social worker/translator/storyteller all rolled into one. She loves reading and writing, talking and having fun with children, but most of all she loves to laugh, make others laugh then laugh some more!

About the festival:
Launched by the Bookaroo Trust (New Delhi) 9 years ago, the Bookaroo Children’s Literature Festival has been engaging with international and national authors, illustrators, story tellers to make literature available to children in a fun way. Its efforts intend to bring more children and adults to read paper books and rediscover the excitement of holding a paper book in hand, meet the authors and also learn the process that goes in making a book.
