After the screening of the documentary “Der Imker” (The Beekeeper) guests were invited for a nicely prepared reception at the Red Hall in Pristina. For the second part of the Swiss Night the featured movie “Heimatland” (“Homeland”) was shown. 

Prior to the screening, three Swiss special guests took the floor. Ambassador to Kosovo Krystyna Marty Lang greeted the public and showed herself delighted that Switzerland was part of this year’s PriFest. Lisa Blatter, one of the 10 directors of “Heimatland”, and actor Dashmir Ristemi then gave a short introduction to their movie. It was shown in original language (Swiss German) and with English, Albanian and Serbian subtitles. Afterwards the public discussed about the movie with the present director and actor. Although speaking Swiss German in the movie, Ristemi was happy to answer questions in Albanian – he has Kosovar roots.
