The Ambassador of Switzerland to Kosovo Thomas Kolly met with the Minister of Economy Artane Rizvanolli. They had an insightful exchange about the challenges faced by publicly owned enterprises in Kosovo and plans to make these companies viable. Ambassador Kolly welcomed the Kosovo Government’s intention to ensure the recruitment of independent, accountable and professional board members, including with respect to the Energy Regulatory Office. Noting the importance of protecting the environment whilst ensuring energy diversification, he recalled Switzerland’s support towards the development of renewable energies and expressed readiness to explore possibilities to enhance our cooperation.
