Subsequent to the start of the first round of negotiations towards a free trade agreement between Kosovo and EFTA, members of the Swiss Parliament conducted a three-day visit to Pristina to reaffirm Switzerland’s strong support to the development of a robust economy in Kosovo as well as to reemphasize their support to the integration of Kosovo in regional and international organisations. Whilst Switzerland is already the second largest foreign investor in Kosovo and the 6th destination of Kosovo exports of goods, the envisaged free trade agreement is expected to further boost this positive dynamic.
