Mobile passport unit in Kaponga and in Timaru

Sunday, 01.10.2017 – Friday, 06.10.2017

The Embassy of Switzerland in Wellington, New Zealand, once again served Swiss citizens in Kaponga and in Timaru by collecting biometric data in view of establishing new identity documents. This took place between the 1 and the 6 October 2017 at the Taranaki Swiss Club and at the residence of Mr and Mrs Kempf in Timaru. Vice-Consul Gloria Giugno was in charge of the project, assisted by Julian Booysen.

It allowed not only to establish the base for new identity documents for 80 people, thus saving them a trip to Wellington, but also to verify and update their personal data at the Embassy as well as to establish many personal contacts.

Up to date data will allow the Embassy to serve all your needs and to contact you in case of an emergency.

The Embassy will provide this mobile service in New Zealand again in the future. Please check on this website for information regarding future dates: Passport and identity card
