Both interlocutors stressed the substantial bilateral economic relations and expressed their determination to continue building on the existing solid structure and intensify bilateral cooperation of mutual interest.
Ambassador Schmid gave an overview of the long-standing and manyfold bilateral relations and outlined the potential for further improvement and intensification. He drew the attention of Minister Cvetković to various cooperation programs aiming at raising the competitiveness of the Serbian economy by strengthening the innovation ecosystem and supporting high-tech start-ups and SMEs. In this respect he invited Minister Cvetkovic to attend the launch event of the new SME Hub initiative, developed together with the Ministry, the ICT Hub and the private sector, and scheduled for the 17th October.
