The 5^th edition of the Swiss Ambassador’s Football Cup took place at the Swiss Club on Saturday, May 24, with the participation of 18 teams (among them six girl’s teams) from seven local and nine international schools. Despite the usual heat and humidity, the players showed a lot of enthusiam all day long also thanks to refreshments from the main sponsors Nestlè MILO, as well as casa Italia, Huber’s Butchery, Ricola and Swissbake.

Ms Sim Ann, Minister of State and guest of honor of the Ambassador’s Cup rewarded, together with the Swiss Embassy’s Chargè d’ affairs, Ms Emi Georgieva, presented the proud winners with medals and trophies. The winning team of Hollandse School (boys U9), Telok Kurau Primary School (U11) and the German European School (boys U11) were prized with UBS sponsored tickets for Singapore’s Snow City. In the lucky draw, all the children had the possibility to win many prizes, among them a two night stay for a family at the Mövenpick Hotel Sentosa thanks to the gracious support of the hotel.
