Message on International Cooperation 2013–2016: Key points in brief
For the first time, the Message on Switzerland’s International Cooperation describes in one document the tasks of humanitarian aid, development cooperation, economic and trade policy measures within the framework of development cooperation, and cooperation with the countries of Eastern Europe.
Retombées économiques de l’aide publique au développement en Suisse – Etude 2010
An independent study shows that state development aid (SDA) which aims to reduce poverty and to support economic and social development in partner countries also has positive effects on the economy and on employment in Switzerland. The calculation of the economic repercussions of SDA is carried out at regular intervals in response to a postulate issued in 1981. The conclusions of the study based on data from the year 2010 are comparable on the whole with those of previous studies.
Switzerland’s contribution – The achievements of the SDC in 2006–2010
For the first time, the SDC is publishing the results of its activities over a five-year period. This new general activity report illustrates eight thematic areas of SDC activity by presenting sample projects, the funds earmarked, and the contribution thus made to worldwide poverty reduction and the reform of structures.
