Energy issues are more relevant than ever before – not just in Switzerland. The countries of Eastern Europe in particular are facing the challenge of supplying reliable and affordable energy for all people and companies without a negative impact on the climate. In a region where most of the energy consumed still comes from non-renewable resources this is no easy task.

Lugar: University of Applied Sciences and Arts Western Switzerland, Sierre

How can Switzerland's cooperation with Eastern Europe contribute to the transfer of Swiss energy and climate knowledge to partner countries? How can it help them to produce electricity and heat cleanly and efficiently? How can private donors also be brought on board to make the necessary investments? Does the growing competition in energy markets really lead to more efficient supply and lower prices?

Experts, politicians, entrepreneurs and representatives of the federal offices concerned will discuss and provide answers to these questions.

Registration for the 'Clean Energy for All' panel discussion.

The registration deadline is 6 November 2017.
