The Ambassador of Switzerland to Kosovo Mr. Thomas Kolly, together with the Prime Minister of Kosovo Mr. Albin Kurti, Peja Mayor Mr. Gazmend Muhaxheri, and the Ambassador of Germany to Kosovo Mr. Jörn Rohde jointly inaugurated the Waste Water Treatment Plant in Peja.
Thanks to Switzerland’s support to improve sanitation and waste water treatment services, 60% of the citizens in Peja have now improved access to clean water. Switzerland will remain committed to protecting the environment and to further improving the water sector in Kosovo.
