Public financial Management, Vietnam, Phase III

This intervention supports public financial management (PFM) reforms at subnational level in Vietnam. The engagement will include the City of Da Nang in central Vietnam and the City of Can Tho in the Mekong Delta. The program complements an ongoing SECO PFM intervention at central level.

Corporate Development Support for Wastewater Sector in Kosovo

On its path to achieving EU candidate status, Kosovo aims to comply with EU standards. Only 2% of its wastewater is currently treated, which results in contaminated rivers and groundwater. SECO can capitalize on previous Swiss achievements for supporting the capacity and corporate development in Kosovo’s wastewater sector.


Sustainable Tourism - Southeast Destination

This project aims to contribute to the attractiveness of Southeast Tunisia and to improve the income and living conditions of the local population, through new approaches to sustainable, diversified and inclusive tourism. Swiss and UE programmes will work in synergy and disseminate the DMOs approach, developped in the previous SECO project.


Partnership on Sustainable Urban Development - Phase II

The WB Trust Fund for Sustainable Urban Development - Phase II, is a continuation of the existing strategic cooperation with the World Bank on sustainable urban development. It will support cities in developing countries to sustainably plan and manage urban development with the help of evidence provided by the program.


Tax Administration Diagnostic and Assessement Tool, Phase II

TADAT is a diagnostic tool that provides an objective and standardized assessment of the relative strengths and weaknesses of a country’s system of tax administration. The TADAT strengthens coordination between the main providers of technical assistance in the tax field and allows an evidenced-based measurement of tax reform progress.


Renewable Energy Auction Program

SECO’s support to EBRD Renewable Energy Auctions Program aims to scale up RE investments by assisting countries in designing and implementing RE auctions. The Program will help improve countries’ energy supply while reducing significantly greenhouse gas emissions in the Western Balkans and Southern and Easter Mediterranean region (SEMED).

Urban Water Supply Security in Peru

The project seeks to increase climate resilience of urban water supply and to improve wastewater management with a special emphasis on skills development. It will focus on improving cooperation and establishing partnerships locally, regionally as well as between Peru and Switzerland/Germany. The project is implemented by the German GIZ.
