Energy districts in Colombia, Phase II

Air conditioning in buildings is one of the main sources of energy consumption in Colombia. One way of making the production of air condictioning cleaner and more efficient is to build Energy Districts. SECO supports Colombia in promoting Energy Districts as an interesting option to improve energy efficiency in cities and lower GHG emissions.

Micro, Small, and Medium Entreprise Technical Assistance Facility, Phase 2

01.01.2019 - 31.12.2026

The Facility provides technical assistance to the Middle East and Northern Africa (MENA) region to improve access to finance for MSMEs and encourage private sector led growth. It is jointly implemented by the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation. Building on results achieved during the first phase of the Facility (2012-2018), this second phase will strengthen the legal and regulatory environment, develop financial market infrastructure and provide technical assistance to financial institutions.The SECO contribution will focus on activities in Egypt and in Tunisia.


Cities Development Initiative Asia CDIA Phase II

Sustainable investments in municipal infrastructure struggle to keep pace with the fast urbanization in Asia. One main reason is the lack of sound urban projects, attractive to financiers. Cities Development Initiative Asia therefore supports medium sized cities to prepare infrastructure projects and link them to finance.


Organic Trade 4 Development in Eastern Europe
