OECD Tax and Development Programme, Phase II

This project strengthens developing countries’ tax policy and tax administration with a focus on international taxation. The project will be implemented by the OECD’s Centre for Tax Policy and Administration (CTPA) through the development and implementation of international standards- the provision of guidance and data- and capacity building.


Resilient Bolivian Cities

Bolivian cities’ exposure to natural hazards – mainly floods, flash floods and landslides - in combination with rapid unplanned urbanization is a huge issue: Bolivia has the second highest economic risk exposure to multiple hazards worldwide. To improve resilience of its cities, the government has identified key challenges it needs to address.



Technical Assistance for green and climate-resilient COVID19 recovery

The Climate Investment Funds' (CIF) COVID19 Technical Assistance (TA) Response helps recipient countries direct their COVID19 recovery packages towards green and climate resilient recovery and thereby supports the alignment of these substantial investments with the Paris Agreement on Climate Change.


Renewable District Energy in Serbia

The Renewable District Energy in the Western Balkans Program, ReDEWeB aims to increase awareness for investments in Renewable District Energy systems in Serbia. The Program will showcase the successful use of renewable energy sources in the district heating systems of Serbia and prepare all relevant stakeholders for these new technologies.


African Cities Lab (ACL) in Urban Development

The African Cities Lab Project will create a continuing education digital platform on sustainable urban development in Africa, offering quality Massive Open Online Course (MOOCs) and online training for professionals. The platform will be developed by the Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) and gather leading African universities.


Stabilization and Sustainable Growth Fund in Ukraine, Phase II

The project will support market-based economic reforms that are at the core of stabilizing Ukraine’s macroeconomic situation and foster growth. The second phase continues and consolidates the reform progress and enhances private sector participation in the economy.


Debt Management and Financial Analysis Program IV

The Debt Management and Financial Analysis Program (DMFAS) supports 85 institutions in 58 countries to better manage their public debt. Focussing on debt recording, monitoring and reporting, DMFAS allows countries achieve a comprehensive overview and understanding of their debt, which is a precondition to ensure sustainability of public finances.


Zurich Trams for Vinnytsia, Phase II

SECO supports the transfer of functional second hand trams from Zurich and Berne and associated technical assistance to the city of Vinnytsia and Lviv (Ukraine) to replace part of the city’s old tram fleet and improve its public transport system.
