After 20 years in the police force, Jasmin was looking for new challenges. Off the top of her head she contacted CIVPOL in response to an advertisement. “Originally I was supposed to do a six-month tour. I never thought that I would end up spending a year and a half in Kosovo!”

Participating in peace keeping

“My mission in Ivory Coast was to help with the reconstruction of the Ivorian police force in general and of the scientific police in particular. Creating a database of offenders was another aspect of my activity. Thanks to this we managed to nab a repeat offender. This was a great moment.”
