Coronavirus (Ordinance 3 COVID-19)

Important Notice

As of May 2, 2022 all Covid entry restrictions to Switzerland will be lifted. Even unvaccinated/recovered travelers will be exempt from the previous Covid restrictions, regardless of country of origin or reason for travel. As of May 2, 2022, entry into Switzerland will again be possible under normal pre-pandemic conditions: FAQ - Entry.

If you have questions about the sanitary measures applied to persons entering Switzerland (testing, quarantine, validity of vaccination, etc.), please contact the Federal Office of Public Health -OFSP.

The State Secretariat for Migration SEM and this Embassy can only give you information on entry into Switzerland. Entry regulations in other countries are the responsibility of the authorities of those countries.

In consultation with Spain, Switzerland has reactivated the existing representation agreement for Jamaica as of 1 November 2021. On the basis of the representation agreement and the Schengen legal basis, Spain will once again process visa applications for Switzerland in Jamaica autonomously and without the intervention of the Swiss authorities.
