It has a global dimension, not only because of the resulting consequences for Switzerland, but also because of the domestic and foreign policy or even the economic impact.
The first day of the congress is marked by the meeting of the Swiss Abroad Council. It meets twice a year in Switzerland for a full-day meeting to discuss important issues of the Swiss Abroad policy and to comment on current issues from the perspective of Switzerland.
