With a capacity of 40.000 tons annually, the Hungarian factory is the largest of 36 Givaudan factories worldwide. All together, these factories are providing 25% of all globally produced flavours and fragrances.
Mihály Karkas, director general of the Hungarian entity presented the main information about the company under his leadership with its 400 employees. Then, the visitors had a tour of the production site.
Givaudan is a supplier of the largest 150 food manufacturers in the world, and the products of the Swiss-based group can be found in every fourth product being sold by the retailing industry.
