Discussing about the fundamental importance of the work of the Constitutional Court, Ambassador Kolly stressed that the upholding and implementation of all Court’s decisions is essential for the rule of law and thereby in the interest of citizens. He also agreed that it is crucial for the good functioning of the Court that the Assembly adopts a staffing policy exempt of political interference and elects judges without unnecessary delays.
