The Embassy staff got tough questions to answer about their work, as the Youth was listening to first-hand experiences from around the world and satisfying their curiosity about issues such as the protection of Swiss interests, visa matters, civil affairs, how to become a diplomat and much more.

The Youth also shared their experiences in the Philippines, specifically the organizations they supported: MARIPHIL Children Village, Island Kids Philippines and FAMILIA MISSION. Speakers talked about starting their days at 05:30am, picking up the kids at school but also about the process of accepting kids at the organizations.

The event allowed for a direct exchange between the Swiss and Filipino Youth as they discussed issues related to the theme "Youth without Borders" and presented their thoughts on what borders are, the meaning of borders, life without borders, self-imposed borders, how to overcome borders and imagining a future without borders.

The event was organized in cooperation with Urs and Lucienne Hebeisen, NAC SEA Relief
