Travel from Poland to Switzerland

Since 6 July 2020, travelers from certain countries wishing to enter Switzerland are obliged to go into a 10-day quarantine.

Travelers from Poland are currently not subject to this mandatory quarantine. However, all travelers from Poland are required to:

- present a negative PCR test carried out within 72 hours prior to arrival;

- fill in the electronic entry form before entry to Switzerland (https://swissplf.admin.ch);

- report their arrival to the responsible cantonal health authority within two days.

Neither quarantine nor PCR test is required for people who have been fully vaccinated with a vaccine approved in Switzerland or by the EMA.

Please follow this link for further information, including on current exemptions from testing and quarantine requirements such as for people traveling on business.

Travel from Switzerland to Poland

A negative test result (PCR or antigen test, not older than 48 hours) is required to be exempted from the 10-day quarantine obligation in Poland. The test can be done before departure or after entry to Poland. To be exempted from quarantine, the negative test result must be submitted to the Polish sanitation authority SANEPID which then confirms the quarantine exemption. Persons vaccinated against COVID-19 are exempt from quarantine.

There are no restrictions to leave Poland.
