The following documents are in general required when applying for an entry visa for work in Switzerland:
- authorisation issued by the cantonal authority (original or copy)
- valid passport (original)
- copy of the passport (photo, data and signature pages only)
Additional for Non-US citizens: notarized copy of US permanent resident card or US visa (and I-20, DS-2019, I-797)
- a recent photograph
- visa fees
- Passports with issued visas will be mailed back.
Please provide a prepaid, self-addressed return envelope with a tracking number of a secure carrier (Mailing possible only to an address in the USA). Applicants must indicate their name and address both as sender and recipient. The Swiss representation does not assume any liability for the loss of documents submitted or returned by mail.
