It can be considered a global public good, which SECO has helped to establish & develop since the beginning in 2001. Donor financing ensures the maintenance and continued development of the framework and support to the user community.

OECD: Anti-Corruption Network (ACN), Phase IV Since 2003, SECO-WE has supported the implementation of the Istanbul Action Plan through OECD’s Anti-Corruption Network (ACN). Countries from the ECA region voluntarily submit themselves to Peer Monitoring Reviews in the area of anti-corruption in order to identify crucial key reform measures.
Green Building EDGE standard Program

Buildings consume a large share of energy and water resources and are responsible for up to 20% of global CO2 emissions. This program, implemented by the IFC, aims at supporting the construction sector in several SECO priority countries to design greener buildings. By reducing energy and water use of buildings, operational costs for house owners will decrease.
