Le Total Official Support for Sustainable Development (TOSSD) est un cadre statistique visant à garantir un système cohérent, comparable et harmonisé pour suivre les investissements liés aux objectifs du développement durable dans les pays en développement. Le standard est supervisé par le Forum international sur le TOSSD (IFT). La Suisse notifie ses données depuis 2019. En tant que membre de l’IFT, elle contribue au développement conceptuel et stratégique de la mesure.
Sri Lanka, SET Tropical Storm Ditwah

Sri Lanka is grappling with one of its worst natural disasters in recent history. Cyclone Ditwah struck Sri Lanka at the end of November 2025 with unprecedented force, unleashing days of torrential rain that triggered severe flooding and landslides across all 25 districts of the country. Given the devastating situation, the Swiss Humanitarian Aid decided to deploy a Rapid Response Team (SET), focusing on WASH, and possible additional sectors like NFI, CVA and/or shelter.
Energy and Environment Partnership Africa Trust Fund

Switzerland supports the Energy and Environment Partnership Africa Trust Fund to advance clean energy solutions in Zimbabwe. The project provides grants, business development support and investment facilitation to innovative private-sector actors that deliver clean energy services to vulnerable communities. This aligns with Switzerland’s interest to support climate change mitigation and inclusive economic development in Zimbabwe.
Emergency Response for Palestinian Medical Evacuees and their Companions, single phase

Since the escalation of the Gaza conflict on October 7, 2023, Egypt has served as a vital humanitarian corridor, receiving over 8,000 injured Palestinians and 16,000 accompanying family members. All medical evacuees and their companions remain in Egypt, unable to return to Gaza due to ongoing insecurity and access restrictions. As medical evacuations continue, pressure on Egypt’s health system continue. The project strengthens access to specialized healthcare, mental health and psychosocial support, and cash assistance.
Improving access to justice in Northern Mozambique

This project aims to improve access to justice in two provinces in Northern Mozambique by empowering provincial and district courts. Through a combination of training, procedural reform and infrastructure upgrades, Switzerland will directly support the Supreme Court to deliver faster and more effective justice, with a particular focus on corruption cases and land-related disputes.

SDC funding to ICRC operations allows the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) to respond proactively and to provide immediate protection and assistance for people affected by armed conflict and other situations of violence such as Sudan. In line with the Good Humanitarian Donorship (GHD) principles, Switzerland recognizes the necessity of predictable and flexible funding to respond to changing needs in humanitarian crises.

Over 30 million people in Sudan are in need of humanitarian aid. The Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) is one of the UN’s country-based pooled funds, dedicated to saving lives and protecting people in need by supporting a coordinated and principled humanitarian response. It enables a diverse range of frontline partner organizations to respond swiftly and effectively to humanitarian needs outlined in the Humanitarian Needs and Response Plan (HNRP) and to critical emergencies.

Since April 2023, the ongoing conflict in Sudan has caused a humanitarian catastrophe of massive magnitude within the country. It has also deeply affected the neighbouring countries, in particular the most fragile ones such as Chad, South Sudan and the Central African Republic, which were already facing levels of severe food insecurity. With no end in sight to the conflict, Swiss additional funding supports WFP operations in Sudan and in the region to deliver much needed life-saving food and nutrition assistance.

This project supports people and communities exposed to migration-related risks along the Colombia–Venezuela border. It helps strengthen their protection against violence, exploitation, abuse and family separation by improving access to essential protection services. It also reinforces the capacities of communities, civil society organizations and local authorities—such as identifying risks, guiding people to services and organizing local support to build community-led solutions and sustainable protection networks.
ComBaCaL+: Community Based Chronic Care Lesotho Plus

ComBaCaL+ is building on the scientific proof of concept that demonstrated how prevention and care tasks of uncomplicated hypertension and diabetes can be effectively shifted to Community Health Workers (CHWs). Initially designed as a transformative research project, this phase aims at bringing these groundbreaking results, emerging from Swiss excellence in research, towards impact at scale, including the preparation of the Lesotho prototype to be replicated in other contexts.
WHO, Medical Evacuation and Treat-ment of Children from Gaza in Jordan

With this project, Switzerland, in partnership with WHO, supports medical evacuations and the provison of medical care for children from Gaza under King Abdullah II’s “Royal Initiative for the Medical Treatment of Children”. Children with severe conditions that cannot be treated in Gaza will receive holistic medical and psychosocial support in Jordan. The contribution is part of the Federal Council’s decision from 26 November 2025 to grant CHF 23 million to support the “Gaza Peace Plan” of the United States.
SAWA II – Partnership for Productive Enterprises

This project supports the recovery of small and medium enterprises to sustain production and retain or create jobs. Amid a fragile context marked by trade and movement restrictions, low productivity, and weak institutions, the programme delivers targeted assistance – technical, digital, legal, and financial – to restore business operations and expand market linkages. By combining immediate recovery support with longerterm strengthening of value chains, it contributes to positioning the private sector as a driver of recovery.
