FDFA recommendations for travelling abroad

Travel responsibly and take time to plan and organise your trip. The Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) recommends that you download the Travel Admin app, register, and enter your trips abroad before leaving for your holiday.

The FDFA Helpline is the single point of contact for enquiries about consular services.

Current situation

  • Please actively inform yourself about the instructions of the Government and the local media regarding the restriction measures. Updated news can be, for example, found here: "Fresh News" media.

Travel/stay

  • If you feel seriously unwell please contact the nearest clinic/hospital, or call 115 (hotline by the Ministry of Health for participatory disease surveillance program) or call 119 (Ambulance).
  • The Cambodian government has ended the automatic extension of tourist visa (Visa T) and the exemption of Visa T overstay to foreigners who have not been able to return to their countries. Visa E (all versions) must be renewed as usual, otherwise overstay fees incur.
