The Consulate General of Switzerland is thrilled to announce the inaugural Swiss Month. This vibrant festival aims to showcase the rich diversity and excellence of Switzerland featuring an array of events in arts and culture, cuisine, finance, science and innovation, tourism and sports.
The ‘Swiss Design Classics’ exhibition is the largest and most complete ever undertaking of original pieces of Swiss design in China. Featuring more than 200 iconic design works, the exhibition includes six major chapters – Original Furniture, Ground-breaking Innovations, Tourism Posters, Swiss Stools, Max Bill’s Legacy, and Most Beautiful Swiss Books.

Under the Pretty Good Film Festival campaign, the Embassy plans to organize a series of screenings of Swiss films (fiction, documentary, animation, short film), putting ECONOMY under spotlight. This year's lineup includes eight films: four documentaries, two narrative features and two animations.
On August 6th 2024, the Embassy of Switzerland celebrates the 50th anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone for the construction of the Embassy complex on this site, which was completed in 1976. Prior to the move, the Embassy was located in a traditional courtyard in Nanheyan. This exhibition shows historical photographs of the Nanheyan period, the construction and opening of the current building, as well as some pictures of the Embassy today.
