In order to curb the spread of COVID-19, the Iraqi government decided to prolong the nationwide preventive measures until the end of the Holy month of Ramadan. A total lockdown shall be imposed on the weekends (Friday and Saturday), while a curfew will be in place from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
