I welcome you to the website of the Trade Office of Swiss Industries in Taipei.

Since 1982, our office has been supporting Swiss business interests in Taiwan. The strong focus on technology and innovation in both Switzerland and Taiwan enables successful business relations. There are around 125 Swiss companies present here, and trade promotion continues to be a key area of our activities. One example of our efforts is our event series “Swiss Innovation Talk Taipei”, a platform which offers an opportunity for interested Swiss businesses to present their innovation and for the Swiss business community to connect with stakeholders. We also organize Swiss pavilions for various industries at important exhibitions in Taipei, showcasing Swiss expertise and excellence.

Furthermore, we facilitate educational and scientific exchanges between Switzerland and Taiwan by bringing people and relevant institutions together. We promote Swiss higher education at various universities in Taiwan by holding lectures, and we provide networking opportunities for alumni and exchange students of Swiss universities in Taiwan. We also encourage cultural bridges between Switzerland and Taiwan in the fields of theatre, dance, music, art and more.

In addition, we are mandated by Switzerland Tourism to highlight Switzerland as a top tourism destination. In fact, there are many good reasons for visiting Switzerland, and we would love to see even more guests from Taiwan enjoying what Switzerland has to offer.

Over the past 20 years, the Swiss community in Taiwan has increased by almost 50%, to about 360 nationals. Whether you are one of them or just passing through, our consular section is your point of contact for consular services you may need while here. We are committed to always providing you with reliable and high-quality services.
