As lead donor to improve access to and management of water resources in Kosovo, Switzerland also supports the NGO GAIA Kosovo, which, in cooperation with Group for Legal and Political Studies, has been relentlessly working to protect the rivers of the National Park of Sharr and to end the construction of damaging hydro power plants in Kosovo, including in Shterpce/Strpce.
