Deputy Head of economic affairs, finance and science at the Swiss Embassy in Moscow

As deputy head of economic affairs, finance and science, you follow the economic developments of Russia, write analyses, reports and notes concerning Russia’s economic matters. You organize visits for official delegations, economic missions in diverse Russian regions as well as bilateral meetings. You are responsible for several economic and/or financial dossiers (i.a intellectual property rights, G20, WTO and Eurasian Economic Union). You deal with several enterprises that required the support of the Embassy and have the possibility to represent the Embassy at official functions. You also perform supervisory duties and represent the Head of department during his absence.


In addition to the Swiss citizenship, a master degree in social and economic sciences, international relations or law, you have several years of professional experience in the administration, private or academic sector. You have a strong interest in economic issues and are in possession of good analytic abilities. You are ready to represent and promote the Swiss economic interests in Russia. You distinguish yourself by your many-sidedness, flexibility, team spirit and initiative. A very good knowledge of two national languages, as well as Russian and English is necessary.

Contract of employment

Full time job (100%) with local contract of employment. Social security allowances are including annuity policy, unemployment fund and pension fund of the Confederation (PUBLICA).
