WASH Material for Cholera Response in Haiti and Syria
There are current outbreaks of Cholera in Haiti and Syria. Partners have requested emergency WASH material which includes water disinfection and distribution kits, pumps, and bacteriological testing kits which can indicate the presence of faecal matter in drinking water. This project finances the replacement of WASH emergency material that will be taken from the SET stock of SDC and sent to Haiti and Syria.

Hintergrund | Haiti and Syria are fragile contexts and countries that mostly are without functional water and sanitation systems. They have populations who live in a precarious situations where poverty and vulnerability is exacerbated by food insecurity, climate change, lack of access to education, lack of functional social and health services, conflict and displacement. |
