Join us for a movie night in celebration of the Italian langugage.

In October, we traditionally celebrate the Italian Language Week. The Consulate General of Switzerland in Vancouver, together with the Italian Cultural Centre and the Consulate General of Italy in Vancouver, invite you to an in-person film screening and reception.

"40 & Climbing" by Bindu de Stoppani
The story of long lost friends Marta, Sara and Isabella who are forced to leave their every day lives behind, confront their rocky past and conquer the wild outdoors. Through the trials and physical challenges they endure, their forgotten friendship is challenged, requiring them to come clean about some home truths in order to climb their own inner mountains and realise that they are in fact... not far from the peak.

The movie will be screened in Italian with English subtitles.
