Yemen, Cholera Emergency response material SKH
Project completed
The number of acute watery diarrhea (AWD) / suspected cholera cases continues to increase at unprecedented level in Yemen and has bypassed 200’000 suspected cases with more than 1’300 reported fatalities. The Swiss focus is on WASH services, where SKH personnel is conducting tests on water quality and, where necessary, will conduct small constructions / investments in order to improve the hygiene situation. A delivery of WATA devices may be considered.
