Susanna Caseri, born in 1971 in Zurich, studied economics and business administration.
She held a number of managerial positions in the legal service of the VAT department (1991–2001) and the finance department of the Swiss National Bank (2001–2005) and the procurement and contracts department of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), before taking up a post as deputy head of Investment Controlling at the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO) in 2006. She was then appointed head of Motorway Investment Controlling at FEDRO.
In this role she set up investment controlling and project cost management systems in the new regional offices of FEDRO for the motorways taken over by the cantons (finances, requirements, IT).
Since April 2017, Ms Caseri has been working at the SDC as a member of the SDC's senior management and as head of the Financial Advice and Risk Management Section (previously head of the Corporate Financial Planning and Consulting Division). She is charged with providing financial advice to the SDC's senior management and is responsible for the SDC's corporate risk management.
