Addressing structural and psychological aspects

The SDC is helping children affected by war and disasters to regain some normality. It is working to rehabilitate schools in Jordan to accommodate children of Syrian refugees and to set up psychosocial services for girls and boys who have fled the atrocities committed by Boko Haram in Niger.

The SDC’s Skills for Life pilot project teaches vocational skills to refugees and residents of Kakuma, to enable them to work and earn a living.
