The President of the Swiss Confederation, Didier Burkhalter, is travelling to Russia in his capacity as Chairperson-in-Office of the OSCE. In Moscow he meets with Russian President Vladimir Putin to discuss the situation in Ukraine. The two presidents also explore diplomatic options to stop the escalation of violence.
