The two countries have signed agreements on double taxation, air traffic, investment protection and reciprocal visa-free access for holders of a diplomatic or official passport. The Swiss embassy in Caracas, Venezuela represents Swiss interests in Trinidad and Tobago.
Economic cooperation
In 2018 Switzerland imported goods worth nearly CHF 0.8 million, mainly chemical products. Exports to Trinidad and Tobago amounted to CHF 8.7 million, primarily pharmaceuticals and machinery.
